I think the Bamboo Stitch and the Picot edge go perfectly with each other. Use a soft yarn for this cuddly blanket. I used Softball Cotton, my favorite yarn, and love how it came out.

PICK UP STITCHES ON AN EDGE FREE VIDEO

There's a new FREE VIDEO on the Web-site that demonstrates how to PICK UP STITCHES ON AN EDGE. This is something you need to know for many different projects. I get a lot of e-mails telling me that the edges are rolling on a scarf. You can pick up the edges and do a few rows of garter stitch to rectify that. And, you will need to do this technique when making a gusset. You might want to pick up stitches to add a sleeve instead of sewing it in later. I could go on and on. Watch this video to see how simple it is.
