KNITING FOR CHARITY

I've been knitting a lot of hats while watching the Olympics. Ive made so many hats over the years that I can knit them without having to think so much. I'm trying to get a group of hats to send to Hatboxfoundation.org. Here's a picture of one of the hats I made. It's for a woman. Can you see the button on top? I always like to put buttons on as an extra detail.

Every row is the same too. This stitch, when made with a nice thick wool will come out soft and fluffy. It's perfect for winter garments. Go to the Video page and scroll down to Stiches. NEW FREE VIDEO-LACEY EYELET RIB STITCH

The new video demonstrates how to do the beautiful LACEY EYELET RIB STITCH. It really isn't a stretchy rib stitch, but it's based on ribbing. This stitch is beautiful for a baby blanket or garment and makes a lovely scarf. I hope you'll take the time to try this lovely stitch.

LEGWARMERS PATTERN

Here are the legwarmers I've been working on. I made them out of Softball Cotton and added an extra cuff that buttons on for added detail. You can make them with or without the cuff.
